Ingredients
1 kg: Meat
750 gm: Semi cooked rice
Sautéed brown onions to taste
1 tbsp: Ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp: Red chilli paste
1 tbsp: Green chilli paste
½ tbsp: Cardamom powder
3-4 sticks:
Cinnamon
1 tbsp: Cumin seeds
4-5: Cloves
2 tbsp: Lemon juice
250 gm: Curd
4 tbsp: Clarified butter
A pinch: Mace
Mint leaves to taste
1 tsp: Saffron
½ cup: Water
1 tbsp: Salt
½ cup: Oil
Method
Clean the meat.
Now in a pan add meat, salt, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, green chilli paste, sautéed brown onions, cardamom powder, cinnamon, cumin seeds, cloves, mace, mint leaves and lemon juice. Mix it well.
Add curd, clarified butter, semi cooked rice, saffron, water and oil and mix it well.
Now apply sticky dough on the sides of the pan.
Cover with lid to seal it and cook for about 25 minutes.
Hyderabadi Biryani is ready to eat.
Garnish with boiled eggs, sliced carrot and cucumber.
Serve hot.

'Shiney has been crying for two days'

actor Shiney Ahuja, who is in police custody on the charge of raping his teenaged housemaid, looks haggard since he has been crying for the past two days and hasn't slept much, a police official here said Wednesday.
Lodged in a small cell inside the lock-up of Andheri police station, Shiney has virtually collapsed under the strain of the charges against him.
"Since the past two days, he has been crying and weeping. He looks weary and tired, and is not getting proper sleep," said the official, who did not wish to be named.
The investigators have also found that a non-cognisable offence of sexual harassment was registered against Shiney some time ago. However, there was no confirmation whether his flat in the upmarket Versova area has been raided or sealed.
On Wednesday, DNA samples taken by forensic experts from clothes and other personal belongings of the actor and the victim were sent for tests.
Medical tests conducted earlier had confirmed that the teenage girl had been raped.
"The findings of the medical report confirm the statements in the victim's first information report (FIR)," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone VI) Niket Kaushik told IANS Tuesday.
In another alarming disclosure, Kaushik said that as per general physical examination, the victim could be aged between 17-18 years making her a minor as per Indian laws.In order to determine her correct age, we are now planning to send her for appropriate dental and bone examinations, so I cannot comment anything on this aspect immediately," Kaushik said.
The victim, a resident of Vasai suburb in neighbouring Thane district, used to commute by local train to Shiney's home daily for doing household chores along with two other part-time servants.

Ahuja alleged of rape

Well known Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja is accused of raping his housemaid. The maid who is between 18-22 years of age has confirmed the police of sexual harassment. The preliminary tests that were conducted have also confirmed the same. Police officials have told the media that Ahuja have been booked under sections of the IPC (Indian Penal Code) for rape (376), criminal intimidation (506) and wrongful confinement (342) .
Ahuja who is reportedly separated from his wife has been staying alone in his Mumbai apartment for some time now. His parents and daughter were also away when the incident took place.
According to the reports the incident took place between 3p.m to 5p.m on 14 of June. He has been sent to police custody till June 18 for the alleged charges. The detention was carried on by the Oshiwara police. It was the maid’s complaint that prompted the police to take action. “She approached the Oshiwara police at around 7 pm and told the police that Ahuja had raped her,” said Amitabh Gupta, additional commissioner of police.
According to sources the maid has been working as a domestic help in Ahuja’s flat for the last one and a half month. “He took me into his bedroom, gagged and raped me,” the victim is believed to have said in the FIR. After the incident the victim was immediately sent to the Nagpada police hospital for a medical examination late Sunday night. While Ahuja was called for inquiry he received VIP treatment. He was questioned in an air conditioned van of one of the higher police officials and taken for medical test much later.

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has revealed that she loves to paint in real life

The feeling of joy was felt in the air. It was celebration time and that was pretty apparent at Love Aaj Kal’s press conference held at PVR Pheonix Mills.
A trade analyst present at the event said, ” It was the launch and first look of the most eagerly awaited and looked forward film —Illuminati Film’s Love Aaj Kal.” Love Aaj Kal hits the theatres on 31st July.
The film is already creating a buzz, Lead stars Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone made it a point to be present on the occasion. Director Imtiaz Ali and Producer Dinesh Vijan were also present at the event. The promo of the movie was unveiled.

Trisha forays into Bollywood teams up with Akshay Kumar

Director Priyadarshan has signed Tamil star Trisha to play the female lead in his forthcoming Hindi film starring Akshay Kumar.
"I suggested Trisha's name as Akshay wanted a fresh face for his 'Khatta Meetha'. He saw a few of her films, met her, was impressed and she is in," Priyadarshan told IANS. Trisha says she is happy that her mentor is giving her a break in Hindi films. "My lucky director Priyadarshan, who introduced me in Tamil movies, is giving me a break in Hindi films too. After my good debut in 'Lesa, Lesa', I was reticent about my career because of a nagging feeling I would be a misfit in cinema. Now with a firm foot in the south, things have worked out for Bollywood as well," Trisha told IANS. Scheduled to go on floors in October, the movie will be a lighthearted comedy with six songs by Pritam Chakraborty. Born Trisha Krishnan in 1983, the model-turned-actress has starred in 28 Tamil and Telugu films since her debut in 1999. Chicken cooked in spicy green Thai curry

Preparation Time : 5-10 minutes

Cooking Time : 25 minutes

Servings : 4

Ingredients

Boneless chicken, 1 inch pieces 600 grams
Oil 2 tablespoons
Chicken stock 3 cups
Salt to taste
Kaffir lime leaves 3-4
Coconut milk , thick 3/4 cup
Basil leaves, torn 6-8
Red chillies sliced diagonally 2
FOR PASTE
Green chillies 4-5
Small onions 3
Garlic 6-8 cloves
Galangal 1 inch piece
Lemon grass 2 stalks
Coriander roots, chopped 3 tablespoons
Coriander seeds 2 teaspoons
Cumin seeds 2 teaspoons
Lemon rind 1/4 teaspoon
Lemon juice 1 tablespoons
Basil leaves 6-8
Fish sauce 1 1/2 tablespoons

Method

For the green curry paste grind together green chillies, small onions, garlic, galangal, lemon grass, coriander roots, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, lemon rind, lemon juice, basil leaves, fish sauce and little water to a fine paste.Heat oil in a pan. Add the ground paste and sauté for three to four minutes. Add chicken pieces. Mix and sauté for three to four minutes.

Add stock and bring to a boil. Add salt, hand torn lime leaves and cook for nearly ten minutes.

Add coconut milk and bring to a boil. Add hand torn basil leaves, sliced fresh red chillies and take off the heat.

Serve hot with steamed rice.

The world saw the disappearance of an A330 Air Frane during a trans Atlantic flight between Rio to Paris. Very ironic that a day before I got a mail of the photos taken a a passenger on a flight mins after a mid air collision, and mins before the crash of the said aircraft
Two shots taken inside the plane before it crashed. Unbelievable! Photos taken inside the GOL B 737 aircraft that was involved in a mid air collision and crashed.....
A B737 had a mid air collision with the Embraer Legacy while cruising at 35,000 feet over South America. The Embraer Legacy, though seriously damaged with the winglet ripped off, managed to make a landing at a nearby airstrip in the midst of the Amazon jungle. The crew and passengers of the Embraer Legacy had no idea what they had hit. The B737however crashed, killing all crew and passengers on board.
The two photos attached were apparently taken by one of the passengers in the B737, just after the collision and before the aircraft crashed. The photos were retrieved from the camera's memory stick. You will never get to see photos like this. In the first photo, there is a gaping hole in the fuselage through which you can see the tailplane and vertical fin of the aircraft. In the second photo, one of the passengers is being sucked out of the gaping hole.

These photos were found in a digital Casio Z750, amidst the remains in Serra do Cachimbo.. Although the camera was destroyed, the Memory Stick was recovered. Investigating the serial number of the camera, the owner was identified as Paulo G. Muller, an actor of a theatre for children known in the outskirts of Porto Alegre. It can be imagined that he was standing during the impact with the Embraer Legacy and during the turbulence, he managed to take these photos, just seconds after the tail loss the aircraft plunged. So the camera was found near the cockpit. The structural stress probably ripped the engines away, diminishing the falling speed, protecting the electronic equipment but not unfortunately the victims. Paulo Muller leaves behind two daughters, Bruna and Beatriz.

Today's Recipe :CHICKEN AND PRAWN PEPPER

Yellow and green bell peppers stuffed with a chicken and prawn mixture topped wirh cheese and baked.
Preparation Time : 1/2 an hour
Cooking Time : 10 minutes
Servings : 4
Ingredients
Chicken mince
200 grams
Prawns (kolambi/jhinga), shelled and deveined
15-20
Green capsicum, halved and seeded
2 medium
Red capsicum, halved and seeded
2 medium
Yellow capsicum, halved and seeded
2 medium
Oil plus to shallow fry
2 tablespoons
Shallots, chopped
2-3 cups
Ginger, chopped
1 inch piece
Garlic, chopped
5-6 cloves
Green chilli, chopped
1-2
Salsa
to taste
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
2 tablespoons
Black peppercorns, crushed
to taste
Cheese, grated
1/2 cup
Chilli oil
as required

Method

Mince the prawns. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped shallots, ginger, garlic, green chillies and sauté for two minutes. In bowl mix together chicken mince, prawn mince, onion mixture, salt, chopped coriander leaves and crushed peppercorns.Put this mixture over the halved capsicums and spread evenly. Smoothen the surface with wet hands.You can also make quenelles from the chicken mixture. Shape into quenelles using two tablespoons and cook in three cups of boiling water. Drain.C.°Preheat oven to 240Top the prepared capsicum halves with crushed peppercorns. Add grated cheese to a few.Heat oil in a pan, place a few stuffed capsicums and cook for a few minutes. Turn and drizzle a little chilli olive oil and cook till done.Or place them in a greased tray, drizzle a chilli olive oil and C till done.°bake in the preheated oven at 240Or place the stuffed capsicums in a microwave plate, drizzle chilli olive oil over and cook at Microwave HIGH (100%) for one and a half minutes.When done, cut each stuffed capsicum piece into shapes of your choice and serve.

Salman Miffed With Veer’s Director

Actor Salman Khan is unhappy with director of film Veer, Anil Sharma. Salman is very ambitious about the film and has been involved in every aspect of the film including script writing, music and sets for the film. Meanwhile he is upset with the director of the film because Salman didn’t like the pace with which he is working. Anil Sharma is well known for to take a long time to complete his films and that’s what becomes the reason of rift between the two.
One source said, “Salman is extremely charged about Veer. He has written the script and has left no stone unturned to better the film. However of late, he has had issues with Anil Sharma. Salman is very upset with the pace at which Anil Sharma shoots. Sharma is renowned to take a long time to complete his films and that has become the bone of contention between the two. Salman has walked away from the sets during the London schedule of the film at least 3-4 times.”
“Salman has actively participated in the music and sets and every other aspect of the film. However he is not at all happy with Anil Sharma and has already spoken to the producer Vijay Galani that the shooting be completed quickly,” the source later added.
The director was unavailable for comment, but producer Vijay Galani clarified, “This is not true at all. Salman is extremely professional and on the contrary we wrapped up the schedule a day before schedule.”

Ingredients :

1 whole chicken,cut into small pieces 1 cup yoghurt 6 onions, chopped 1 ginger 10 cloves of garlic 6 cloves 2 cinnamon cardamoms 10 cashewnuts 10 almonds 1 cup coconut milk ½ cup oil Salt to taste ½ tsp turmeric chilli powder to taste
Method :

Make a paste of the ginger, garlic, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, cashews and almonds.Heat oil in a big vessel, add the chopped onions. Fry them till they turn golden. Then put the ground masala and fry very well.While frying this paste, add 3-4 tbsp of water you will notice that oil floats on top.Now add the yoghurt and the chicken.Season it well with salt, haldi and chilli powder.Cook for 10 mins, then add the coconut milk.Cook till done, garnish with coriander leaves

SRK to move from six-to-eight pack

Well gone are the days when you saw SRK sporting six-pack abs now he going Aamir Khan’s way and would be sporting eight-pack abs in Farah Khan’s upcoming flick.

Boyle has approached Aamir Khan

The new buzz in the Bollywood town is that the Oscar winner director of Slumdog Millionaire Danny Boyle has approached Aamir Khan to work in his next film. Boyle saw Aamir’s Taare Zameen Par and was impressed by Aamir’s work. Boyle was keen to work with Aamir since then and expressed his desire to the actor during the premiere of his film Slumdog…. in India.
It’s only when Aamir returned to Mumbai from foreign trip with his kids and received call from the director. Boyle was in Mumbai to help the child actors of his film Slumdog…. Rubina Ali and Azharuddin Ismail Shaikh.
